MGTV Will Offer
Governor Granholm's
State of the State Address &
Republican/Green Party Responses
Live On Cable Television

(Lansing, Michigan)óMichigan Government Television (MGTV) will offer its cable television viewers live coverage of Governor Jennifer Granholm's State of the State Address on Tuesday, January 27th, beginning at 6:00 p.m. MGTV will also carry the Republican Party and Green Party responses immediately following the governor's address.

MGTV's viewers may also link to House TV's live videostreaming of the event from MGTV's website, www.mgtv.org. There will be a direct link to the address on the home page of MGTV's website that night. Following the address, MGTV will archive the governor's address in the videostream section of its website.

The following day (Wednesday, January 28th), MGTV will repeat Governor Granholm's State of the State Address and the Republican and Green Party responses during our regular programming hours (10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., EST) beginning at 10:00 a.m. MGTV will also offer MGTV Forum: State of the State Analysis, a one hour, live phone-in program with members of the Capitol press corps at 1:00 p.m. that day (January 28th). Joining MGTV Executive Director Bill Trevarthen on the program will be Sarah Hulett, Michigan Public Radio, John Reurink, MIRS Capitol Report, and John Truscott, The Truscott Group.
